Decatur, Ala. – Jet-Pep, Inc., a Cullman County-based company with 104 gasoline stations, and the Alabama Bass Trail have signed a one year agreement for Jet-Pep to be a Presenting Sponsor of the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series set to launch in 2014.

The Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series gets underway February 1, 2014. The 10 lake team-style tournament series will be held on the lakes of the Alabama Bass Trail with the championship taking place on the 11th lake. As part of the agreement, the Alabama Bass Trail will feature Jet-Pep on all tournament related advertising, website, and collateral materials.

Headquartered in Holly Pond, Ala., Jet-Pep supplies 104 gasoline stations across Alabama with its presence strongest in central Alabama, where it opened its first station in Cullman County. It buys its fuels from various refineries and receives its delivery via Colonial Pipeline Co., a Georgia-based company that operates a 5,519-mile system of pipelines that moves fuel to 267 marketing terminals serving the southern and Eastern United States. The company’s largest supplier is ExxonMobil.

“We are excited to have a great Alabama based company like Jet-Pep, Inc. as a sponsor.  Competitive anglers will tell you that outside of their equipment fuel is one of their largest expenses throughout the year.  We anticipate seeing more Alabama Bass Trail Tournament participants fueling up at local Jet-Pep stations,” said Kay Donaldson, Program Director of the Alabama Bass Trail.
