2026 Season Premieres July 4th, Bringing Tournament Action, Big Personalities and Some of the Biggest Bass in the South to Fans Across the Nation.
DECATUR, Ala. – The Alabama Bass Trail (ABT), the Southeast’s premier competitive bass fishing organization and the second-largest tournament trail in the United States, today announced that the Alabama Bass Trail TV Show has found a new broadcast home with three of Gray Media’s Broadcast Sports Networks – Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment, Peachtree Sports Network and Tennessee Valley Sports & Entertainment. The 2026 season will premiere July 4, 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization and its rapidly growing fanbase.
The 30-minute weekly program will deliver the full ABT experience – elite tournament competition, compelling storylines, and some of the most impressive catches in competitive bass fishing – to audiences across these Gray Broadcast Sports Networks’ far-reaching broadcast footprint. The partnership opens a significant new avenue for fans to follow the Alabama Bass Trail’s North and South Division stops, as well as the Alabama Bass Trail 100 Tournament Series throughout the season.
Now in its thirteenth season, the Alabama Bass Trail has built a reputation as one of the most exciting and competitive bass fishing circuits in the country.
The stakes are high: Every regular season tournament features a $15,000 guaranteed first place prize and over $64,000 total payout at all ten events. Then comes the Championship – no entry fee, no excuses – featuring a jaw-dropping $50,000 top prize and over $100,000 in total payouts. By the time it’s all said and done, more than $750,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded across the full season.
And that’s not all. The Alabama Bass Trail 100 is also back, and the stakes are quite serious. The highly competitive, 100-boat series showcase a $25,000 first place prize and $100,000 in total payout at each of its three tournaments. This is big-time team fishing at its finest, and somebody is walking away with a life-changing check.
