2027 Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series Sells Out

450 Teams and 900 Anglers Set to Compete in Nearly $1 Million Amateur Tournament Series

The Alabama Bass Trail is excited to announce that the 2027 Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series is officially SOLD OUT, once again demonstrating the tremendous enthusiasm and demand surrounding one of the nation’s premier amateur team tournament trails.

The 2027 field will feature 450 teams and 900 anglers, with 225 teams/450 anglers in the North Division and 225 teams/450 anglers in the South Division.

Anglers registered for the 2027 season represent 10 states, including Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois, further demonstrating the regional and national reach of the Alabama Bass Trail.

With an amateur tournament-series payout totaling just shy of $1 million, the Alabama Bass Trail continues to provide anglers with an exceptional competitive experience while producing a significant economic benefit for communities throughout Alabama.

Each year, Alabama Bass Trail tournaments bring anglers, families and supporters into host communities across the state, generating approximately $11 million in annual economic impact for Alabama through lodging, restaurants, fuel, retail purchases and other visitor spending.

The 2027 season will culminate in a two-day, no-entry-fee Championship at Neely Henry Lake on October 15-16, 2027, with a $50,000 grand prize and $100,000 total championship payout on the line.

“The fact that both divisions are sold out speaks volumes about the strength of the Alabama Bass Trail and the loyalty of our anglers,” said Kay Donaldson, Alabama Bass Trail Executive Director. “To have 900 anglers ready to compete in 2027 is incredibly exciting. We are proud that this homegrown Alabama tournament series not only provides an outstanding experience for amateur anglers but also continues to generate meaningful economic impact for the communities and lakes that host us.”
