Lake Jordan fished fair for me last week. Caught most of my fish on main lake and creek points in 8-12 ft of water on Carolina rigged lizard and shaky head worms, both in green pumpkin color. Had a on and off jerk bait bite working good until tournament day. Cold front shut that down on me a bit. Water temps in 40’s make current very important for the spotted bass. I know it was help for me in the tournament and I’m sure some of the bigger bags came from current help. Weights from the tournament ranged from 22lbs to a few zero’s. Jordan amazes me year after year when even in these cold water conditions it took over 17lbs to get in top 10 out of 162 boats. I’m looking forward to spring when catching is a little easier. I’m booking trips now for April. Let me know if you’d like to book a spring trip for Bass or Crappie.
