The bass are on the move on Lake Jordan. Catching bass from 20ft deep to right on the bank. As the water cools the shad start getting shallow. Find the shad and there’s a Spotted Bass around. I like a jerkbait and a lipless crankbait in Fall around shad schools. A topwater bait like a pop-r works well right now as well when you find active fish. If your struggling? Work a shad pattern jerkbait on the main river runs around any structure you see. You will usually connect with some Spots like this. For Largemouth, stay in the grass beds and fish a shad colored spinnerbait. We are booking fall trips now, you can contact us through Email at spothunter@bamaspots.com
