Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/12/15

If you follow the local tournaments to determine the aggressiveness of the fish you will see that 7 to 9 bites a day are about it at the moment, and if you were in one of our guide boat this week it was not much different. If you caught your bites you had a decent day, if you didn’t well you know! Size was good for the slow bite but numbers were down for sure.

The pattern is changing some as we are seeing a gradual movement to the shallow thicker hydrilla so if your love is flipping that pattern is picking up. It can also be said that the top water bite is showing improvement every day, with buzz baits, spooks and popping baits leading the way. That bite is not everywhere but if can find it you can add some numbers. Tight-Line jigs with Missile Bait trailers, and Punisher Lure Shakey Heads were my most active baits for the week.

Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, no one will treat you better, or work harder to see you have some fun on Lake Guntersville.
