Fishing Report for Lake Guntersville, Al 2-25-15
The weather the past few weeks has been rough and has really limited the days we were able to get out. The water temp is down to 41 deg. and the past few days we have averaged the best 5 of 20 to 23 lbs with our best fish between 6 and 7 lbs. The last few trips I have ran in the past few days have been with guys that have some tournaments coming up and when we got bit in an area we never stayed fishing it. We just kept moving and hitting areas getting them several spots to rotate through the day.
Traps and crankbaits are the deal right now for us fished in 8 to 12 feet of water. Most days right now you will hit a fish here and there and then you will come across that area and get 4 or 5 bites and up to 10 bites of it pretty quick but it is never right in the same spot but the same general area. You just need to keep bouncing around until you find those little schools or wolf packs.
I have days open if anyone wants to get out.
Here are a few pics of some of the bigger fish we have had. I just happen to catch them.
