This past week proved that Guntersville is still among the best Bass fisheries out there right now. It seemed to be all about the deep bite and big baits. Things “got right” out there after 11:00 am each day with us just absolutely hammering them the remainder of the day. We had numerous big fish each evening with us having some amazing times spent on the water and memories that will last a lifetime. We targeted shell beds in 15 to 30 feet of water and main lake points. There were three baits that were pretty chomped up after this week , a Spoon, a Deep diving crankbait, and a 3/4 oz Killer Bass Baits Killer Jig in J-craw color with a net bait green pumpkin paca chunk Sr for the trailer. The fish I’m targeting are in position where they are there to stay for a while so there will be more amazing times to come. The water temperature is right at 80° now, and the current flow was around 8,500 cfm each day we fished.
You can find all of the baits we caught them on this week at Keller’s Tackle & Grocery Inc. on Highway 431 just before you get to Honeycomb if your headed toward Guntersville from Huntsville.
If you want to get out there for a bass catching adventure of a lifetime, now is the time to book a trip with me.
