The water temperatures continue to drop fast on Lake Guntersville and the bite is in transition and conditions are still playing a big role on the best baits/locations everyday. The grass mats are disappearing fast but we have had some great days this week and its a great time to fish on Guntersville. The cold weather is tough but it has turned the bite on. Swimbaits and Chatterbaits have been the best bite for us as the topwater bite has turned off with the cold weather. Client today caught the best fish so far for the year for trips at 9-0 and is having a replica made. I will be working in Decatur at the ABA National Championship convention in the Rat-l-trap and Duckett fishing booth Fri and Sat so stop by and say hi! I am booking trips for next week, email casey@caseymartinfishing.com for more information.
