This report is for April 11th on the TN River-Wheeler Lake/Elk River, Alabama. I spent the day with two gentlemen wanting to locate fish for an upcoming tourney. We did a lot of running around fishing different depths and patterns throughout the day. We caught several good largemouth without fishing any one spot very long. 0ur best one went close to 5lbs with our best 5 around 16lbs. The water temp on Wheeler is around 65 degrees and clear to dingy depending on location. Good bait choices include spinnerbaits, crankbaits,  jigs and shakyheads.
