This report is for this week on TN River-Pickwick Lake, Alabama. Pickwick Lake water level is 412.44 with an average inflow of 18475 cfs, and water temp around 78 degrees. We fished out of Mcfarland Park in Florence, AL. this week on a corporate trip with around 11 boats and 23 clients. We had really tough conditions with falling water, very little current, and high pressure but still managed several fish between all the boats. The Walmart BFL two day  Super Tournament last weekend took 32ibs 9 ounces to win, but wieghts were down overall. The fall transition of falling water and fish being scatterred has made it a little tough for the moment, but as the water level stabilizes and the water temp cools a little more it will get better. October, November, and December is always a good time to be on the water and one of the best times to catch some big Pickwick Lake largemouth and smallmouth bass.We are starting to get some really explosive topwater bites the last few weeks and it will only get better!  Some of the best baits for this time of year are Topwater baits, swimbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, shakey head worms and jigs. Lets go fishing!
