Pickwick Smallmouth Guide Pickwick Fishing Guide

Good morning! Had a few day trip with the Ol’ Auburn Boys and they had a BLAST! Catching their personal best smallmouth 7lbs. Caught several trophy class smallmouth over this trip, and had a great time using a new bait by True Bass Swimbaits. We caught all of our fish on the 99 Problems and R2D2 color swimbaits in the Little Head 4.5. Rigged on a 1/2 ounce swimbait jighead reeled steady in 8-15 foot of water. They will inhale this thing.

Fish are staging and thinking about spawning. The water temperature is perfect for smallmouth to begin their yearly spawning ritual. I have a few days left in April to do a trip, and I have openings at the end of May.  This is the perfect time to catch a trophy smallmouth. Topwater is just around the corner. Give us a call.

Lets go fishing!
