Golfers have the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, and now anglers have the Alabama Bass Trail (ABT).
With a press conference at Guntersville State Park Thursday, Governor Robert Bentley and Don Logan, the Birmingham co-owner of B.A.S.S., announced a public-private partnership aimed at promoting fishing and tourism here in the same way that the Golf Trail has encouraged travel on the golf circuit.
The Alabama Bass Trail is a program of the
Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association.
